Well its Tuesday and I know I am from Florida but it was cold last night! Everyone was sleeping in their sweatshirts and this morning everyone was trying to beat off the morning chill.
I read everyone comment and I passed along all of your well wishes to your sons. Cheryl you are right about the food here at CRM, staff A+ ,food F-. I just wanted to sign on this morning to make sure I read every one's comments in case you had any specific questions. All is well and all of the newbee's are very excited and show no signs of separation anxiety (sorry mom's) from home. I will write again this afternoon and try and upload a group picture of all of the boys so you can see them.
Thanks Lisa and Cheryl for spreading the word about the blog. Lisa tell Lily and Ryan I miss them very much and I will bring something back for them.
PS If you mailed care packages some started coming in yesterday. I will get a list and post it so you can be sure yours made it. I know Adam Conrads and I believe Zane's came in yesterday.

I added the blog link to the Troop website http://troop485.tripod.com and broadcast an email from TroopMaster to all registered scouts and scouters.
Those who aren't there can see what we are missing. This will be my first birthday in eight years at home with both of the boys here. I will miss hearing "Happy Birthday" sung by 400 scouts and the tasty Rainy Mountain cake.
Greg, after your comments, you shouldn't tell the Moms that some of the boys like the cooking at camp.

We enjoy reading your comments, thanks for doing this - it makes you all seem not so far away. I hope you and the boys are staying warm - I think both Matt and Nick packed shorts to sleep in. Today was fun. We hung out with the Coyles at their pool and Ryan will be missing b-ball practice because he got invited to spend the night with his cousins at Ama's house. Lily is fine and is still giving me an attitude from time to time (only 1 time out so far today - progress). I am having pizza with Maryellen tonight at her place. Take care. We love you!

Let Jay know his mom and I are missing him. Yesterday as I was pumping gas on the way to take Jack to daycare, he got on the phone with his mom and said, "I miss Jay, Mom...I miss him. When is he coming home?"
We priority-mailed a package off to Jay yesterday so it should get there tomorrow or Thursday.
Tell Jay we love him and are proud of him.
